Eligibility Criteria
- 10TH Pass
India Post Staff Car Driver Selection Process 2026
- Selection will be based on a two-stage examination comprising a theory test and a practical test assessing motor mechanism and driving ability.
- Stage I - Theory Examination: Objective questions covering General Knowledge, Reasoning, Arithmetic, Road Sense, Traffic Rules and Vehicle Maintenance.
- Stage II - Practical Test: Assessment of motor mechanism knowledge and light/heavy vehicle driving skills.
- Final Merit: Prepared from the total marks obtained in both stages, subject to the prescribed qualifying standards.
- Only candidates who qualify in Stage I will be eligible to appear in Stage II.
